My room was small but quite clean and convenient – located near the 24-hour lobby which was always staffed by accommodating and friendly people. I enjoyed being able to walk out of my room and stroll around the attractive pond and island in front of the building and appreciated it being within walking distance of a bank, grocery store and a couple of restaurants! There is a nice lounge upstairs – complete with big screen TVs, games and other entertainment – that was perfect for unwinding at the end of a long workday.

Front desk lady, Heidi, was SO kind and awesome. The owner was wonderful and the bar had a great crowd of locals who bought me drinks and invited me to sit at their table! The place was wonderful and the owner is doing great stuff with this up and coming hotel. Overall, quite the bargain!

I had a great experience with this hotel and all of its staff! I was treated like family and stayed a second night that was unplanned. The room was clean, comfortable and the bar was very nice! I will stay there in the future every time I am in and around the Black Hills. A diamond in the rough for sure!
